special guest

This month, in-between all of our stamping, we had a guest join in on the fun, and we would LOVE for you to check out what she's done for us! A lot of you may recognize this beautiful face, one of my favorite scrappers on the planet, who I cannnnnot wait to meet in March, Corinne Smilovici :] We met through the Studio Calico boards, and I think she is the biggest sweetheart, as I'm sure anyone she talks to knows!

Hi I am Corinne from Panama City, Panama.
I am 32 years old, mother of 3 handsome boys and wife of the greatest husband ever!
I love to scrapbook, it is more than a hobby to me and cheaper than a therapist :)

I used a SC kit and stamp with Hero Arts Cement Ink the triangles. This layout is about my boy playing football in a team for the first time

Here's her layout using stamps with one of her cuties football pic:

Here's an up close look at her stamps, the triangles from a sold out Studio Calico add-on. I absolutely LOVE how she turned them into chevrons, they look great, I must try this with something similar!

I hope you were inspired by our guest this month, make sure you check out her blog at  http://corinnesmilovici.blogspot.com/ && see more of her gorgeous designs in the Studio Calico gallery here.

  3. I like how the chevrons pair with the arrows of the patterned paper. And the badge, the curve of the helmet in the photo, and the curves of the "50" create a nice visual triangle. Two of my favorite things to do with my stamps is to fussy-cut and paper-piece, so this technique appeals to me. Nice layout :)
